In this chapter, I would like to talk about web sites and web pages. And not specifically your companies website, because most business owners realize by now that a website, no matter how simple, is a must-have for any business.
Most companies today already have a website built, whether it is a simple, one-page site or an elaborate, multi-page information source. No matter what you have, you have to consider your website to be your digital storefront. It is the business card for your company, the face for your on-line endeavors.
But there are more things that you can do with web pages, things that many people do not use.
Therefore, in this chapter, I will be talking about personal start pages, dashboards, RSS feeds, dynamic websites, advanced web technologies and intranet sites with blogs, forums, wiki's and FAQ's. Not everything may apply to your business model, but keep an open mind to the possibilities; it's what the Internet was built on...
